Book One:
Written in the 1940s, this story depicts a young prince travelling beyond his own territory.
I read the story once when I was young and I remember finding the plot as funny.
The story is narrated by a pilot who was stuck with his broken airplane. The little prince asked him to draw some things for him to take back to his planet. The boy left his planet to find cure for his loneliness and met four other grown-ups occupied with their own specific positions. He landed in the middle of the desert on Earth and walked far enough to find a snake, a bush of roses and a fox. He also climbed a mountain and found himself perplexed by his own echoes. These are common things for us on Earth but he was fascinated with all of these because he lived in his own planet whom we assume as an asteroid.
It is an interesting story to be read every few years because as you grow, the way you view situations is different. In anyway, I was much younger when I read this. The little prince was just a boy of my age back then finding people are odd and funny in their own ways. As I grow up, I reflected myself from the grown-ups and other discoveries made by the little prince instead of seeing the world in his eyes.
I sure recommend you to read it now... and read it again five years after.

I rediscovered the story when I was watching Korean variety shows. In one, they were given a mission to read a book and this dude chose to read The Little Prince. Yet in another, they were given missions to accomplish around Gamcheon Art Village in Busan, Korea and it featured The Little Prince as one of the art display.

The Little Prince and the fox were seated on a wall facing the village from the upper hill. If you have read the book and seen this place, it may give you an idea of how these two characters view Earth and people in it.
It really triggered me to search for the book and reread it again.
The story is probably incomprehensible to some people because given a way to see it, this story is like a bloody huge metaphorical way to describe the many characters living on Earth. It MAY appear illogical if you see it from the common adults' ways of viewing things.
Thus bring me to my favourite part of the story - when The Little Prince explained about the boa constrictor in comparison to a hat. It was explained in the earlier part of the story as if it truly highlights how different adults and children's views.
I sure have more things to cramp in this post and I sure could have written it in a better way but I have class in few hours so I gotta get ready with assignments and stuffs.
Pardonez-moi.
Have a good day!
